| Well, on Monday I spent 8 hours in the Philadelphia airport. I sat and aged and walked around and ate an Odwalla bar, and then boarded a plane for Paris. I met two guys that helped me get around the Paris airport, since it was kind of tricky. But after wandering around it for 5 hours, I feel confident that going back will not be a problem. It was quite beautiful, actually, and although I was tired, I enjoyed myself quite a bit. After meeting some Tibetian monks, I boarded a plane for Manchester, where I got asked about 30 questions in Customs. I guess I look shady! When I went down to baggage claim, I learned that both of the handles on my bag had been broken...so now I need to buy a new bag. Oh well. The woman I am staying with in Liverpool picked me up, and here I am...in Liverpool. Home of The Beatles and some other English people. So far I am enjoying myself. We drove through the city today, ran some errands, and visited the Liverpool Cathidral, and that was all quite nice. Tomorrow, the weather might not be so nice. But when it allows, I am going to go shop and take a few pictures. I had told a few of you that I would upload my pictures fairly often. But, right now I can't actually get on my computer to do that. This is my friend's computer, and I don't really want to upload tons of pictures to HER hard drive and then just have to delete them...it'd be kind of a hassle. So, I am going to wait. See, she has forgotten the password to her wireless, and lost where she wrote it down. It's kind of humorous, because I did the same thing at our house...lost where the password was written down. And, I didn't realize how much of a pain it was until now. :] But that's alright. Well, I better go. I am taking an online Sociology class as well, which shouldn't take up too much of my time unless I drag it out...which is why I figure I should just go get it all done! Cheers, Rachel |
